More than Five Thousand MHADA homes up for grab
This Diwali The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development
Authority (Mhada) plans to carry out a lottery draw for as many as Five
Thousand One Hundred and Fifty One (5151) tenements in Virar as bonanza for
home buyers.
From reliable source said the recent group of apartments
will be for the economically weaker division as well as for the low income
group applicant. Half of the Five Thousand One Hundred and Fifty One
( 5,151 ) homes are almost prepared. All tenements are being
build in Bolinj, Virar (West). The current plans being work out by the system
the request of submission procedure may begin in November, followed by a draw
at the end of that month. This will make sure that the whole lottery procedure
is done before the year ends.
Earlier this year there were plans to put up (Two Thousand
Five Hundred) 2,500 homes in Virar for sale in the May 31 lottery draw. The
plan was axed at the last minute and only (One Thousand Two Hundred and Fourty
Four ) 1,244 apartments in different locations of Mumbai were sold.
There were dissimilarity in opinion over the timing of ways
the lottery draw for the Virar units; a section of officials supposed that as
the construction was still at a promising stage, it would be too early to sell
the tenements However, at the same time, it was said that the bigger large
piece of homes in Bolinj will be made obtainable in the second half of 2013,
provided the code of conduct for elections is not announce.
